The world’s number one cryptocurrency website has responded to recent allegations that their organization is engaged in fraudulent cryptocurrency related activities.
“We will be publishing an official clarification within a few days, but the accusations are false on all accounts.”
Last week a newly created Twitter account going by the handle CoinMarketCap’d said they have “irrefutable proof” that CoinMarketCap.com was engaging in, among other things, insider trading, front running, and general manipulation of cryptocurrency markets.
We have irrefutable proof that @CoinMarketCap is providing SCAM information to everyone on their site. It should immediately cease being used by the entire industry as a FRAUD with their own agendas. Detailed information in a post coming soon. #scam #fraud #cmc

As the news of possible foul play spread across the internet, the CoinMarketCap’d Twitter account published several articles on Medium detailing the allegations.
CoinMarketCap.com has said they will issue a full statement in coming days to address the accusations.
